SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW As part of Google’s on-going commitment to support and increase the number of underrepresented groups in Computer Science and technical local communities throughout EMEA, the Google Europe Scholarship for Students with Disabilities was one of the initiatives launched. Recipients of the Scholarship will receive a 7,000 Euro award for the 2014/2015 academic year.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE GOOGLE EUROPE SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES? Applicants, male or female, must have a disability, mental health or long term health condition (which includes dyslexia, dyspraxia, visual impairment, hearing impairment, diabetes, epilepsy, depression, anxiety disorders, and any other physical or mental impairments or health conditions). In addition, all applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters or PhD programme (or equivalent) in 2014/2015 at a European or Israeli University.
