ISWA and APESB cordially invite you to submit your abstract to the 2nd Africa Sustainable Waste Management International Congress 2014. Paper submission: We invite all technicians, researchers and professionals connected to the waste sector to submit an abstract for the 2nd Africa Sustainable Waste Management Congress in Angola. After notification of acceptance by the Scientific Committee, the author will be asked to submit the full paper. For further details, please visit our website.
Objectives: This congress will provide a major international forum for the exchange of experiences in the sector of solid waste and the environmental sustainability in Africa and worldwide.
Important dates: • All abstracts must be submitted by 10 January 2014. • After evaluation by the review committee, authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts by 10 February 2014. • Full paper must be delivered until 10 March 2014. • For final acceptance of the paper/poster, at least one of the authors will be required to register to the congress. One author will receive a 20% reduced registration fee to the congress.
Quality papers will be selected for peer review in the world’s leading waste science journal Waste Management & Research for publishing.
Proceedings and Book of Abstracts: The congress book of abstracts will be published and distributed to the participants at the congress. In addition, the proceedings will be published online. Both will have an ISBN registration with international validity.
Congress Languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish Translation from Portuguese to English and the other way around will be offered on site.
Social Programme: Welcome Reception, Gala Dinner and cultural/touristic tours are planned.
