Microsoft Research Connections is pleased to invite applications for the 2014 Software Engineering Innovation Foundation (SEIF) Awards.
The Foundation supports top researchers who are conducting academic research that primarily involves Microsoft technologies. Each award is for US$40,000 (increased from 2013) and includes access to relevant collaborations and workshops at Microsoft Research.
This year, the requested proposal topics include core software engineering, software techniques for the Internet of Things, and infrastructure for cloud-scale software.
Proposals addressing the changing landscape of computer science education are also encouraged.
