Está aberto o convite à submissão de artigos para a segunda edição do ISCIES - International Symposium on Computational Intelligence for Engineering Systems. Este evento decorre em Coimbra, de 16 a 18 Novembro de 2011, nas instalações do ISEC.
O Grupo de Investigação em Engenharia do Conhecimento e Apoio à Decisão (GECAD) é um dos organizadores da conferência, juntamente com os Institutos Superiores de Engenharia de Coimbra e Lisboa (ISEC e ISEL), IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, Portuguese Chapter, IEEE Secção Portuguesa, entre outros.
This symposium aims to bring together experts from the field of Computational Intelligence to discuss on the state-of-the-art and to present new research findings and perspectives of future developments related to the symposium topics. It also will provide a stimulating discussion for scientists, engineers, educators, and students to disseminate the latest research findings and exchange information on emerging research areas in the field of Computational Intelligence. The aim of the organizers is to give an opportunity to academics, scientists, engineers, manufacturers and users from all over the world to come together in the pleasant city of Coimbra, to discuss recent developments in the most relevant applications areas.
The Symposium will comprise invited talks and oral presentations. The proceedings of the Symposium will be published in CD-ROM with ISBN and in the form of a book in the Intelligent Systems, Control and Automation: Science and Engineering Book series, Springer.
WORKSHOP PROPOSAL (SC Chair - Cecília Reis - cmr@isep.ipp.pt). Each workshop should last for 1 to 2 hours and include 3 to 6 papers. Please include workshop title; proponents identification, affiliation and short CV; workshop abstract and schedule.
