The World Robotic Sailing Championship (WRSC) is promoting the development of autonomous sailboats. Following events in Austria, Portugal and Canada the WRSC 2011 will be held in Luebeck, Germany.
A series of competitions will test the boats performance ranging from speed to navigation and endurance.
The accompanying International Robotic Sailing Conference provides an ideal venue to discuss the broad range of scientific problems involved in the desgin and development of autonomous sailboats. Researchers interested in these fields can submit their work paragraph in the conference.
DEADLINES April 1, 2011: submission of two page extended abstracts; April 29, 2011: notification of acceptance; June 17, 2011: submission of final papers (up to eight pages); July 1, 2011: registration for IRSC; July 1, 2011: registration for WRSC.
