As Universidades Técnicas da Dinamarca estão a organizar conjuntamente uma Escola de Verão sobre redes eléctricas intitulada Summer School Power 2009.
Would you, together with students from around the world, be interested in gaining an insight into how you can help design the future of power grids? Or do you want to learn more about the Danish electricity network, which is unique, in an international perspective? If so, the International Summer School Power 2009 in Denmark is the right thing for you.
The Summer School Power 2009 is organised by a number of Danish institutions of higher education in cooperation with companies. It is aimed at engineering students specialising in power who plan to graduate at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level within the next year.
The Summer School Power will last 19 days and comprises of lectures, cases, presentations by industry representatives and company visits. The goal is to create a realistic industrially related framework for teaching in an international environment.
The Summer School will take place from 9-28 August 2009 at the conference centre ”Fuglsøcentret” outside Aarhus, Denmark’s second largest city.

ACCOMMODATION The Summer School will take place at Fuglsøcentret, where we will also provide free accommodation from 9-28 August 2009. You will be accommodated in double rooms with another participant. Single room can be reserved, but not for free.
EXPENSES DURING THE SUMMER SCHOOL Food and accommodation are free from 9-28 August 2009. Beverages are in general not included. Transport to companies is free. Do not forget to bring money to spend in your spare time.
