Está aberto o convite ao envio de comunicações para a 4ª edição da European Conference on the Use of Modern Information and Communication Technologies (ECUMICT), que se realizará entre 25 e 26 de Março de 2010 em Gent (Bélgica).
ECUMICT will be a two-days conference on the use of modern information and communication technologies, organized by the engineering department of KaHo St Lieven, Gent, Belgium, in cooperation with a scientific committee composed of experts from universities and institutes of higher education in Europe.
The ECUMICT conference is organized in order to offer a forum to researchers, where they can present the results of their work to European colleagues. It is also our intention to stimulate scientific cooperation between engineering faculties and institutes in different European countries.
We will welcome papers covering topics in the domains of information and communication technologies, such as (but not limited to):
_ Safeguarding of information transmission: error detection and correction _ Safety of information transmission and data access _ Applications of Digital Signal Processing _ Speech and image processing _ The use of (free and open source) software in electronic design _ Multimedia Communication Systems _ Telecommunication Networks and Services _ The use of ICT for educational purposes, including E-learning _ Optimisation techniques in electronic design _ Application development for mobile devices
